Uni-Clip Replacement Kit
Rear window defrosters have at least two main power tab/clips located along the sides of the defroster on the vertical main power bars.

These tab/clips has a wire attached which connects vehicle power to the defroster at each side of the defroster. When these tab/clips separate from the defroster they can be lost or damaged.

If the vehicles original tab/clip is damaged it can be replaced with a Uni-Clip Kit. Each Uni-Clip Kit includes one copper replacement tab. Fit all makes and models.

Uni-Clip Kit Repairs
If your vehicles defroster stops working entirely check the main tab/clips on each side of the rear window defroster. If you spot a hanging wire and tab/clip you can reattach this easily using the 2000 Tab Repair Kit.

If the tab/clip has been damaged or lost then it can be replaced with the Uni-Clip Kit. Repairs are simple. First, you will need both a 2300 Uni-Clip and 2000 Tab Kit to do the job since the Uni-Clip kit does not include the conductive adhesive. Next, mix the conductive silver adhesive following the fully illustrated instructions. Dip the new Uni-Clip in the silver adhesive.

Then position the Tab/Clip directly on the defroster making a good connection between the defroster and the tab/clip. Follow the instructions for curing. Frost Fighter tab repair adhesive makes both the electrical and structural connection in a single operation. Once cured, reconnect the main power connectors to the uni-clip tab bonded on the defroster and the job is complete.

This kit does not include the conductive adhesive needed to bond the tab/clips to the defroster.
