Clear View Kits were developed for extreme winter driving conditions to heat rear windows. The flexible design and trim-to-fit features have made Clear View kits popular for a variety of applications. Please call to order these kits as they are not available in our online catalog.

2620 Clear View Truck Wiper Heater
The 2620 Clear View Truck Wiper Heaters fit into the wiper parking area at the bottom of truck windshields eliminating wiper freezing and sticking.

The alternative to pricey heated glass windows the Clear View Front Wiper Heater is easy to install and can be quickly replaced in the field by the vehicle owner if needed. The heater is very similar to the defroster in the rear window of most cars. Clear View heating elements come on self adhesive pre-spaced rolls that are trimmed to size for easy and accurate installation. The elements bond directly to the glass and are color matched for a factory look with an unobstructed view. The heating elements are connected electrically using kits side bus bars which include mounting tape, brass bus bars and black cover strip.

Available in two models the 2620 Kit is delivered complete with all the parts needed to install and wire the kit including a wire harness, fuses, bus bars, covers and an LED illuminated automatic timing switch which turns the defroster off after several minutes of operation just like a factory installation. The 2625 Kit includes the heating elements and side bus bars only. Each kit comes with easy to follow fully illustrated instructions.

Clear View 2630 Bus Signage Heaters

2695 Frost Fighter Defroster Timer and Switch Kit
This kit provides reliable timing for high amperage circuits perfect for retrofit of trucks, tractors and other vehicles with existing defrosters, including side mirrors.

The switch is activated with a light touch triggering the timing relay and activating the red LED on indicator switch face. Once activated the timer says on for approximately eleven minutes before shutting off automatically.

The switch and timing relay are easy to mount and come with a complete wiring harness (2695 Kit) including full directions for a professional look. The timing relay connects to the switch by a flat ribbon cable that allows the switch to be positioned nearly anyplace on the dash while the relay is secured out of sight.

There are two mounting options when installing the switch in the vehicle. The switch can be mounted in dash by making a 1/2 inch hole on a flat portion of the dash. The other option (2695 Kit) is to mount the switch under the dash using the supplied mounding bracket. Fully illustrated instructions are provided with each kit including a detailed electrical guide.

The 2695 Kit comes complete with a full wire harness, additional connectors, fuses, in line fuse holder and wire taps. The 2697 Kit includes only the switch and timing relay.
